Originally released in 2002 for the Xbox and PlayStation 2, Mafia hit the spot for anyone with a love for cosa nostra movies. Set in the 1930s, and boasting a revolutionary-at-the-time cinema
Mafia DE feels like a mediocre replica for the casual players. Gameplay and story is not deep as the original. But Mafia DE came out recently so it is much more playable if you look for a casual fun. As an overhaul game, Original Mafia 1 is better and more of a complete game than Mafia definitive edition. Mafia 3: Definitive Edition Gameplay (PC HD) [1080p60FPS]Steam - Original "Mafia" main theme written by Vladimir Šimůnek. Soundtrack mastered by John Rodd at Clearstory Sound. Mafia: Definitive Edition is the first game in the series to feature only score music in its credits, whereas all other entries in the series use a small sample of the soundtrack.

Honestly, I would buy The Mafia 2 Original. I've seen the change Mafia DE does to graphics and it's barely noticeable in my opinion. Also, there are not many bugs in the original one. From my many playthroughs, I've encountered like what, 5 bugs which didn't affect the gameplay at all, and even if they did I would just restart from the last

Despite its considerable dumbing down when compared to the original Mafia, Definitive Edition is still a great game. The gameplay, while lacking in charm, still feels pretty good, and the mission Driving with mouse and keyboard feels terrible. Sure but saying a controller isn't much easier for driving is just factually untrue for so many reasons. I play with a KB+M myself because the driving is good enough with it, but the joystick on a controll is just much more precise. #7: Place Names On The Map. The locations on the map have been revised to fit Lost Heaven into a loose approximation of Chicago, instead of the fantasy New York it started as in the original game.

Mafia: Definitive Edition might be an improvement on the original game, but its modernisation stops short of the mark, resulting in an uneven game that squanders its enticing potential. By

The modernisation is better when the cutscenes give way to action. Mafia: Definitive Edition feels much more refined to control than the 2002 original, from the vehicle physics to the fire fights

The remake version is good but it lacks something the original had. 4.In the original : the hotel part, escaping from the police on rooftops and the church part were 3 different missions. In the DE they are in one level only and on a faster pace imo. Also the part where you bribe the priest is more meaningful in the original, more intense.
Mafia "definitive edition " is a disgrace to the original game, absolute shitshow. The main character is a lifeless goon, no charm at all, and same goes with pretty much the rest of the characters ( anyone remember the first game cast, it was excellent, characters there had actual style, cool voices and everyone did not sound the same like this bwFg0.
