Eg. in Germany is max. max for trucks 80 km/h on the motorway, while in France in some places it can be 90 km/h on the motorway, and in England in some places even 97 km/h on the motorway, and in Romania there are even places where you truck must travel 100 km/h. While correct, I have to disagree with the "must".
sound_speed_*. wav - this is for speed limits (instead of an asterisk - speed in km/h) sound_tacho_*. wav - this is for the "remaining driving time" (instead of an asterisk - the number of minutes) Examples: sound_driving_240.wav - when the "daily driving time" becomes equal to 240 minutes (4 hours), this file will be played;
Does anyone have problems, like I do, with ever changing speed limits? Often I miss the change and get pinged with a camera. I'm trying to be good, I really am (except when I'm late). It'd be nice for the Route Advisor to list the next limit on the scheduled route, and perhaps flash it when approaching it.

But I mainly play ETS just to drive in vr so I don't really care about the EU speed limit. But I actually figured it out. I copied the def file from the game folder and extracted it with SCS Extractor and in the country folder I just removed the MAX_LIMIT line from each speed_limit.txt file. Now I can drive up to the limit on each road withoutBut only where you are in that moment you look on the route advisor, not what the local limit rule and your speed are in the next second ! - With 80 km/h your truck moves with about 21.3 meters per second (real life data!), so because of that when you see a speed limit sign with a lower speed than your actual speed you must quickly lower your But if you can't go over 90 km/h on all servers. Please follow these steps: 1-) Disable the speed limiter in your ETS2/ATS settings 2-) Disable the speed limiter in the TruckersMP tab menu 3-) You could join a server that has the speed limiter disabled completely after doing steps 1 & 2. (Optional) 4-) Steps 1 & 2 on a server with a speed
Speed Limit 240 Km/h. Now you can overclock the truck up to 240 km / h unless of course you have the power of the engine.
I was going 90 KM/H and I passed a sign that said 110 on it. I'm assuming that is the speed limit. I was going down a hill so my speed increased to ~95 and it gave me a speeding violation.
If you're using KM/H in the UK: 60(sign) = 90 (speedometer - limiter on) or 96 (speedometer - limiter off; the UK raised their truck speed limit from 55mph to 60)(speedometer) Half truth. The UK limit has always been 60mph on motorways, the speed on dual carraige ways and single lane raods is what changed. And only in England/Wales.Yes, a mod. Not sure which one cause I never tried one but here are some mods in the workshop. You do the rest. Just grab a Scania with a 730 hp engine and pedal to the metal down a long stretch. There always seem to be a speed trap or police car when I do this kind of stuff.n16UaS.
